NetLibrary Recommendations
It can be difficult to find a good audio book to listen to. Please email your recommendations and suggestions to be posted here.
- There are 3 Jodi Picoult books available on NetLibrary. Plain Truth is my favorite.
- Mercy and Salem Falls contain graphic language.
- Battle Cry for Freedom is more of a History Textbook format, but is entertaining and is a great overview of the Civil War.
- Horrible Harry series or Akimbo and the Elephants series are great for elementary age kids.
- Anything by Alexander McCall Smith is entertaining and clean, as far as I know. I've listened to almost everything by him and nothing objectionable yet. Sherrilynn
- Way with Words is a college level lecture on using words well. Very good!
- There are over 15 Modern Scholar lectures available (excellent college level lectures)
- Many required books are available: Huckleberry Finn, Dracula, etc. (To Kill A Mockingbird is available on CD)
